Online Sales & Client Care Associate
E-Commerce, Client Experience & The Cross Happy Place
The Cross is looking for a warm, organized, and sales-minded Online Sales & Client Care Associate to join our team.
This role is all about creating a beautiful customer experience, both online and in-store. You’ll help clients with product questions, online orders, shipping, returns, and general support across email, phone, chat, social media, and our website. You’ll also help convert customer inquiries into sales by offering thoughtful product recommendations and ensuring every client feels cared for.
We’re looking for someone who loves beautiful products, enjoys helping people, and feels comfortable in a busy retail environment where the details matter.
What You’ll Do

Respond to customer inquiries by email, phone, chat, social media, and online channels

Help clients with product questions, order updates, shipping, returns, and exchanges

Support online order processing, including picking, packing, and coordinating fulfillment

Assist customers with placing online orders and finding the right products

Look for opportunities to turn inquiries into sales

Keep customer communication warm, helpful, and on-brand

Work with Shopify, ShipStation, Gorgias, Asana, and other systems

Share customer feedback, product requests, and common questions with the team

Support the sales floor, cash desk, and in-store customer experience when needed

Help keep the online and in-store experience feeling seamless, thoughtful, and special
actively selling through customer conversations -
identifying opportunities to convert inquiries into purchases

supporting online revenue growth through fast, warm, product-driven communication

Create a seamless connection between online service and in-store selling
What We’re Looking For

Experience in retail, customer service, e-commerce, hospitality, or sales support

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A warm, friendly, and professional approach with customers

Strong attention to detail

Good organization and the ability to multitask

A calm, solution-focused attitude when things get busy

Comfort learning and using online systems

A genuine interest in home decor, gifts, interiors, and beautiful products

A team-first attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
Bonus points if you have experience with Shopify, ShipStation, Gorgias, Asana, or retail POS systems.
